Jeffrey Boutwell

Boutwell is executive director of the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs. Previously, he worked as the program director for international security studies at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He also served as a staff aide on the National Security Council during the Carter administration. He is the author of The German Nuclear Dilemma and The Nuclear Confrontation in Europe.
