Jeremiah Ostriker

Jeremiah Ostriker is an astrophysicist whose academic positions have been divided among Princeton University, Cambridge University and Columbia University. In cosmology he led in showing the dominance of dark matter and dark energy over the ordinary chemical elements. His administrative positions include Provost of Princeton University and Treasurer/Councilor of the US National Academy of Sciences. He was awarded the US National Medal of Science in 2000.
