John B. Brake graduated from the University of Virginia’s Politics Honors Program in the spring of 2017, after his junior year. His honors project, “Prestige and Proliferation Preferences,” won the John White Stevenson Prize for best thesis in political science. He will return to UVA as a senior to work on two additional thesis projects. He plans to pursue a PhD in international relations.
