John Harte, professor emeritus at UC Berkeley, is a Leo Szilard, George Polk, and Guggenheim awardee and a fellow of the American Physical Society, the Ecological society of America, and the AAAS. He has authored over 250 articles on topics that include ecology and biodiversity, climate change, complexity science, toxicity, and sustainability. He’s written eight books, including Consider a Spherical Cow.
