Jonas Sandbrink is a biosecurity researcher at the Future of Humanity Institute and a doctoral candidate at the Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford. His research focuses on mitigating the misuse of emerging biotechnologies and implications for pandemic preparedness. He is an Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. Previously, Jonas has worked as a consultant for the Nuclear Threat Initiative’s Global Biological Policy and Program. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Sciences from the University of Oxford.
