Lawrence S. Wittner

Wittner is a history professor at the State University of Albany. His expertise is in peace movements, arms control and disarmament, and nuclear weapons policy. He authored the books One World or None: A History of the World Nuclear Disarmament Movement Through 1953, Resisting the Bomb: A History of the World Disarmament Movement, 1954-1970, and Toward Nuclear Abolition: A History of the World Nuclear Disarmament Movement, 1971 to the Present. His latest book is Confronting the Bomb: A Short History of the World Nuclear Disarmament Movement.
