Louis René Beres has authored many books, monographs, and scholarly articles dealing with military nuclear strategy. In Israel, he was chair of Project Daniel. Over the past several years, his work on nuclear warfare issues was published in the Harvard National Security Journal; International Journal of Intelligence and Counterintelligence; Israel Journal of Foreign Affairs; The Atlantic; The New York Times; The Jerusalem Post; and Oxford University Press. His twelfth book, published this year by Rowman & Littlefield, is Surviving Amid Chaos: Israel’s Nuclear Strategy. He is an emeritus professor of International Law at Purdue University, and was previously the recipient of the Bulletin’s Rabinowitch Prize Essay.
