Marina Barbera

Marina Barbera is the advancement services coordinator at the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. Previously, she worked for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs starting in development with individual giving and later transitioning to program coordinating for the research center on global food and agriculture. Barbera holds dual BAs in Global Studies and Communication Advocacy from Loyola University Chicago, where she also led the university’s Bioethics Bowl team to a national championship. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, painting, and spending time outdoors.
