Mark A. Delucchi

Delucchi is a research scientist at the Institute of Transportation Studies, University of California, Davis. He specializes in economic, environmental, engineering, and planning analyses of transportation systems and technologies. Delucchi’s research is in several areas, including comprehensive analyses of the full social costs of motor-vehicle use; detailed analyses of emissions of greenhouse gases and criteria pollutants from the lifecycle of energy and materials; modeling the energy use and social lifetime costs of advanced electric and fuel-cell vehicles; and analyses of supplying 100 percent of the world’s energy needs with wind, water, and solar power.
