Markus Fischer

Markus Fischer is cofounder and managing director of Entelechon, a
Germany-based gene synthesis company. He is a founding member of the
International Association Synthetic Biology (IASB) and has worked in
bioinformatics and software development for more than 10 years. Fischer
has actively participated in the development of biosecurity software for
screening synthetic DNA orders and has led IASB’s efforts to
create a code of conduct for gene synthesis.
