Martin Desvaux

A physicist, Desvaux is a trustee of the Optimum Population Trust. He has spent a majority of his professional life directing independent research on high-temperature materials and components used in fossil fuel and nuclear power plants. While at ERA Technology Ltd. in Britain, he developed a world market for services in plant-life assessment. Since retiring, his interests have shifted to issues of ecology, demography, the history of human impact on the environment, and global warming.
