Max Moritz

Moritz is a Cooperative Extension Specialist in wildland fire in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management in the College of Natural Resources at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on analyzing fire history at relatively broad scales, examining the mechanisms that drive fire patterns, simulating fire dynamics, and applying this information to ecosystem management.
