Monika Chansoria is a senior fellow at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies in New Delhi and a columnist for The Sunday Guardian. She was among the expert speakers at the 2015 UN meeting of experts on lethal autonomous weapons systems, held in Geneva within the framework of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons. In 2008, she received a doctorate in international relations from the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. Subsequently she was awarded the Hérmes Postdoctoral Fellowship in Paris and fellowships at Sandia National Laboratories in the United States and Hokkaido University in Japan.
