Nancy Gallagher is interim director of the Center for International and Security Studies at Maryland and a senior research scholar at the University of Maryland's School of Public Policy. Previously, she was executive director of the Clinton administration's task force for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, an arms control specialist in the State Department, and a faculty member at Wesleyan University. Her current research concerns policy options for maximizing benefits and minimizing risks related to the global spread of disruptive technologies, including nuclear, space, and cyber capabilities.
