Nikos Passas is a professor of criminal justice at Northeastern University. Nikos specializes in the study of corruption, illicit flows of finance and trade, sanctions, informal fund transfers, remittances, white-collar crime, terrorism, financial regulation, organized crime, and international crimes. In addition, he has worked with FINCEN, led a European Union research study on financial vigilance against sanctions violations by Iran and North Korea, and authored the guides on implementing the UN conventions against transnational organized crime and corruption.
