Oren Setter

Retired Israel Defense Forces Brig.-Gen. Oren Setter is one of Israel’s leading experts on Iran, with over 30 years of experience in strategic planning and defense intelligence. He served as Israel Defense Forces’ head of the Strategic Planning Division (until 2023) and of the Iran Division in Defense Intelligence during the JCPOA negotiations in 2014-2015. He was a research fellow with the Project on Managing the Atom and International Security Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School in 2013-2014.
