Paul C. White is part of the editorial team of Doomed to Cooperate: How American and Russian Scientists Joined Forces to Avert Some of the Greatest Post-Cold War Nuclear Dangers. He is a physicist retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he managed interactions with Russian nuclear institutes and was a technical advisor to the Nuclear Testing Talks in Geneva. White also served as acting laboratory director for national security, and as national security advisor to the director.
