Pervez Hoodbhoy: CH

Hoodbhoy 已在伊斯兰堡古艾德-阿赞姆大学(Quaid-e-Azam University) 物理系任教四十年，现在也任教于巴基斯坦拉合尔的福尔曼基督学院。他所获的奖项众多，包括阿卜杜勒·萨拉姆数学奖（Abdus Salam Award for Mathematics）、巴基斯坦全国图书理事会年度最佳书籍奖（the Book of the Year Award from the National Book Council of Pakistan）及联合国教科文组织科普大奖"卡林加奖"（UNESCO’s Kalinga Award）。除了为巴基斯坦电视台创作了许多纪录片外，他还著有《伊斯兰教和科学：宗教正统及理性之战》（Islam and Science: Religious Orthodoxy and the Battle for Rationality）、《教育和国家：巴基斯坦五十年》（Education and the State: Fifty Years of Pakistan）以及《面对炸弹：巴基斯坦及印度科学家的声音》（Confronting the Bomb: Pakistani and Indian Scientists Speak Out）。他亦是《原子能科学家公告》的董事会成员。
