Phil Johnstone

Phil Johnstone is a Senior Research Fellow at the Science Policy Research Unit at Sussex University. Phil has researched and published widely on the political and democratic implications of science and technology. Phil is a member of the Sussex Energy Group and has a long-standing interest in nuclear power policy. He also has a core research focus related to the role of the military and warfare in technological change. Since 2021, Phil has been a patron of the Nuclear Information Service.
