Reem Abu Shomar

Reem Abu Shomar has over 20 years experience in WASH, public health management, and medical technology, monitoring and evaluation, and quality improvement. She has managed many WASH and public health projects implemented by multi-disciplinary teams for several Palestinian and international organizations. Her research and publications focus on anti-microbial resistance, WASH, and HIV stigma reduction. Reem holds a PhD degree in Water Technology from the Joint PhD program between the Islamic University of Gaza and al Azhar University, a Master’s degree in Public Health, and a BSc in Medical Technology.
