Ronald K. Chesser

Chesser is a professor of biological sciences and director of Texas Tech University’s Center for Environmental Radiation Studies. He has conducted research at Chernobyl since 1992, focusing on reconstruction of radioactive particle dispersion and radiation dosimetry in wildlife exposed to fallout. He was responsible for the construction of the International Radioecology Laboratory in Ukraine in 1998.
