Stephan Lewandowsky

Stephan Lewandowsky is a cognitive scientist at the University of Bristol with an interest in how people update their memories if information they initially believe turn out to be false. His research examines the persistence of misinformation and the spread of “fake news” in society, including conspiracy theories. He recently was coordinating lead author of a report for the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) on the relationship between technology and democracy (https://sks.to/techdem). He is not involved with any aspect of the European Union’s vaccine procurement or policies.
