Maurer is an adjunct associate professor at the University of California, Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy and Boalt Law School. His research focuses on the security, innovation, and antitrust implications of synthetic biology and other cutting edge science. Maurer is also the editor of WMD Terrorism: Science and Policy Choices, which is forthcoming from MIT Press.
