Xenia Cherkaev

Xenia Cherkaev is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Social Anthropology at the Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from Columbia University and is working on two projects: one about the customary use-rights inherent in socialist property law, another about the Soviet and Russian governance of domestic animals.
