Charles F. McMillan

Charles F. McMillan was the 10th director of Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2011 to 2017, contributing significantly to the Department of Energy's mission in nuclear stockpile stewardship. Starting his career in 1983 at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, he contributed to establishing the Stockpile Stewardship Program, which employs sophisticated tools to maintain the U.S. nuclear deterrent's safety and reliability. He remains a government, laboratory, and industry adviser.
