Daniel J. Gregg is the manager of the Synroc Wasteform Engineering Group at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) where he leads research and development to support the safe and efficient disposition of nuclear wastes with a focus on problematic nuclear waste streams. His expertise is in ceramic, glass, and glass-ceramic waste form design, fabrication, characterization, and performance assessment for the implementation of ANSTO’s synroc technology. Gregg holds a PhD in chemistry and materials science from Trinity College Dublin.
