Walter Scheirer

Walter Scheirer is the Dennis O. Doughty Collegiate Professor of Engineering in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. His research is in the area of artificial intelligence, with a focus on visual recognition, media forensics, and ethics. He is the author of the recent book A History of Fake Things on the Internet (Stanford University Press 2023).
